The family members of Abhishek Ghosalkar, former corporator of Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray group, suspect that more than one person is involved in his murder. Has the police investigated in that regard? The High Court asked the police on Monday. Also, the court ordered the police to submit the details of the investigation and evidence collected in the case so far.


A charge sheet has been filed in this case and investigation is still going on. Have the mobile phone records (CDR) of the accused or suspects in this case been checked? What information came out of it? A bench of Justice Revathi Dere and Justice Manjusha Deshpande also asked the police. Also, ordered to submit its details. The case is being investigated under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned circle. Therefore, the bench directed the police to hold a joint meeting between the Deputy Commissioner, the petitioner and the investigating officer to discuss the suspect family members and other aspects related to the murder. The court also advised public prosecutor Hiten Venegaonkar not to look at this petition as adverse.

Ghosalkar's wife Tejashwi has approached the High Court demanding that the investigation into the murder of Ghosalkar be transferred to the CBI or the Special Investigation Team (SIT). The police have failed to find any concrete motive for Abhishek's untimely and highly suspicious, serious, ruthless, brutal, cold-headed murder. Therefore, Tejashwi has demanded that the investigation be transferred to CBI or SIT.
