An enraged father killed his 30-year-old son by hitting him on the head with a stick and strangling him with a rope on Wednesday in Garibachawada area in the west. The son was addicted to alcohol. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Sunil Kurade, the investigation of Vishnu Nagar police has revealed that he used to beat his mother and father every day and his father committed this act out of anger.
The deceased has been identified as Haresh Abhimanyu Patil (30). Abhimanyu Patil (60) is his father. The police have arrested him. The police have registered a case of murder against him.
Haresh's father had lodged a complaint at the Vishnu Nagar police station that Haresh had fallen and died. The police had registered a case of accidental death. Vishnunagar Police Station Senior Inspector Ketan Pawar, Police Inspector Game thoroughly investigated this crime. The police investigation revealed that father Abhimanyu Patil beat his son Haresh on the head with a stick and hanged him with a rope. Assistant Commissioner of Police Kurade said that the father did this out of anger.
