The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has taken an initiative for the development of Koliwada people and promotion of their food culture. Delicious fish dishes made by the women of Mumbai's Koliwada will be available to Mumbaikars through the 'Food on Wheels' scheme.
Women's self-help groups will get a food-on-wheels vehicle from the Municipal Corporation. This initiative by the BMC will help to generate employment on a local level.
