The name of Shiv Sena Shinde faction MLA from South Mumbai, Yamini Jadhav, has been announced.
Yamini Jadhav's name was confirmed in the grand alliance in the meeting with the Chief Minister. Therefore, now there will be a contest between Shiv Sena Thackeray's Arvind Sawant and Shinde's Yamini Jadhav in South Mumbai. Yamini Jadhav is Shiv Sena MLA from Byculla seat. Her husband Yashwant Jadhav is the former chairman of the standing committee of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Grand Alliance has still not announced candidates for some seats in Mumbai. South Mumbai also had a place among them. However, now this seat has become vacant and Yamini Jadhav has been declared as the candidate by Shiv Sena.
