The most popular show on television 'Bigg Boss' and its contestants are often in the news. Both Shiv Thackeray and Abdu Rojik, who won the hearts of the audience by playing a very powerful game in 'Bigg Boss 16', are currently in the news for different reasons. There has been a lot of excitement after the news that these favourite contestants of 'Bigg Boss 16' have been summoned by 'ED'.


According to media reports, the two have been summoned to testify in a high profile money laundering case. Not only this, this case is also said to be related to notorious drug mafia Ali Asghar Shiraji. Ali Asghar Shiraji was running a company called 'Hustlers' Hospitality Pvt Ltd' which provided financial support to various start-ups.

These start-ups include Shiv Thackeray's outlet 'Thackarey Chai and Snacks' and Abdu Rojik's brand 'Burgir'. Shirazi invested money in these industries from the drug business. When Shiv Thackeray and Abdu Rojik came to know about the matter, they promptly cancelled their contracts with Shiraji and his company.


According to the information received by ED, Shiv Thackeray met Krunal Ojha, director of 'Hustlers' Hospitality Pvt Ltd' and he also proposed to partner with Shiv Thackeray in his business. This company had invested a good amount of money in Shiv Thackeray's business. In the year 2023 itself, Abdu Rojik's fast food brand 'Burgir' opened a hotel in Mumbai. Sonu Sood and many other celebrities were also present at the inauguration of the hotel.
