The Financial Investigation Department (CBI) has raided the house of Sameer Wankhede in Mumbai. The CBI has also registered a case against Sameer Wankhede in a corruption case. There is a possibility that Sameer Wankhede's problems will increase.


There is information that this action has been taken by the CBI in the case of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan’s cruise drugs case. CBI has raided 29 properties associated with Sameer Wankhede including Mumbai, Delhi, Ranchi, Kanpur.

What exactly is the case?

On October 2, 2021, NCB raided a cruise ship. 20 people including Aryan Khan were arrested in this action in the drug case. Sameer Wankhede was the former director of NCB Mumbai division at that time. NCB kept Aryan Khan in custody for almost a month. But, Aryan Khan was acquitted due to lack of evidence.


NCB referee Prabhakar Sail had made serious allegations against Sameer Wankhede in the Aryan Khan case. A bribe of INR 25 crores was demanded to release Aryan Khan. Sayle had said that INR eight crores of it was to be given to Wankhede. Taking serious note of it, Sameer Wankhede was interrogated through the vigilance department of NCB. It is said that the CBI has conducted this raid in the same case.
