The number of heatstroke patients is increasing due to the increasing temperature day by day in the state. Since March 1, 184 heat stroke patients have been found in the state. Dhule, Thane and Wardha districts have seen the highest increase in heat stroke patients in the last two weeks. Currently, the highest number of heat stroke patients are in Dhula, followed by Thane, Nashik and Wardha districts.


The heat mercury is rising in the state and the temperature in some districts is more than 40 degrees Celsius. From March 1 to April 26, 184 heat stroke patients have been reported in the state. 102 heat stroke patients have been detected in the last 14 days. A large number of heat stroke patients have been found in the districts of Dhule, Thane and Wardha. Out of the 102 patients detected during the period from April 13 to 26, 17 patients were found in Dhule district, bringing the number of patients to 20. Below that, 16 patients each have been found in Thane and Wardha and the number of patients has increased to 19 and 16 respectively. Also, with 11 patients found in Nashik, the number of patients has increased to 17. 13 new patients have been found in Satara.


Increase in patients in April compared to March

The temperature starts rising in March. Therefore, heatstroke patients are registered from March 1. 184 heat stroke patients have been found in the state, most of them have been found in April. 40 patients were found in March while 144 patients were found from April 1 to 26.

Districts with less patients

One patient each in Akola, Aurangabad, Bhandara, Hingoli, Nagpur, Palghar, Ratnagiri districts, two patients each in Raigad, Nanded, Jalgaon, Nagar, Beed, Chandrapur, three patients each in Amravati, Gadchiroli, Osmanabad, Yavatmal, four in Parbhani, Gondia , five patients each in Kolhapur and six in Pune.


Six districts have no patients

Apart from the districts of Latur, Nandurbar, Sangli, Washim, not a single patient has been found in Mumbai city and its suburbs.
