Dadar : On Sunday, devotees bid adieu to their favorite deity Ganesha after 7 days. But every time when immersion takes place, it is followed by the trail of waste in form of plastic cups, waste flowers etc. In order to clean up the waste, Kharghar’s ITM college students of Eco Club came together. Under “Bhavik Sachdev” banner, almost 100 students cleaned up 800 meters of area near Dadar’s Chaityabhoomi. They also gave away the message to use more eco-friendly idols and asked BMC officials to create more artificial ponds.
