Mumbai - 24 November is the scheduled deadline for using old currency notes. After midnight, people can't use Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 to pay their bills, buy petrol at petrol pumps, deposit their taxes and other government dues. However, one should not worry, as the option of depositing those old currency notes in the bank account or getting them exchanged following the instructions, until 30 December.
