Pratiksha Nagar- Civic officials took action against illegal hawkers on 17 November at Sardar Nagar’s Saibaba vegetable market. These illegal hawkers were causing problems to pedestrians and residents who were finding it difficult to walk on the pavements. Irked residents who complained to the ward office were rewarded when action was finally taken. “These hawkers used to set up their stalls without licences and so we took action,” said civic official P B Kale.
