Gas cylinder prices soar by ₹48

Increased prices of neccesity goods creates disturbance in a layman’s life. After rise in petrol and diesel prices, now the prices of gas cylinders has also seen a spike. Subsidised cylinders have become expensive by ₹2.34 expensive whereas non-subsidised gas cylinders expensive by ₹48.

With this, now the price of subsidised gas cylinder is ₹491.31 whereas non-subsidised gas cylinders on the other hand will now cost ₹671.50.

A consumer can use upto 12 subsidised gas cylinders in a financial year and if it exceeds the limit, the consumer will get the cylinder at the non-subsidised rate. The prices for subsidised and non-subsidised gas cylinders have risen after two and five months respectively.
