State Government has decided to convert Metro junction subway into hawker’s plaza. This move has not gone well with the residents as well as with the Shiv Sena corporator Avikash jadhav. Jadhav was fighting from long demanding of an art gallery. Jadhav has threatened to protest if hawker’s plaza plan is carried ahead. When the State government took the vote for hawker’s plaza plan, 98% of pedestrians – who use metro junction subway- have opposed the government's plan.
