The second important stage of the recruitment process for 185 posts in the Navi Mumbai Police constable cadre is the written exam which will be held on Sunday, July 7 at the 'CIDCO Exhibition Center' in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Although this exam will be held between 9:30 am and 10:30 am on Sunday, the eligible candidates have been advised to appear at the exam centre at 7 am by Navi Mumbai Police. Candidates will be closely targeted through CCTV cameras inside and outside this written examination centre.
As many as 5,984 candidates had applied for the recruitment process of 185 posts of Police Constable in Navi Mumbai Police Force. The recruitment process started from June 19. However, even after the condition of the ground due to rain, the committee conducting the recruitment process under the leadership of Police Commissioner Milind Bharambe has provided more facilities to the candidates, so there is no record of any unfairness in the recruitment process. 1,842 qualified candidates out of 5,984 were selected for the written test after the end of the field test on June 27.

Deputy Commissioner of Police of Navi Mumbai Police Headquarters Sanjay Patil informed that 1399 male and 443 female candidates and 71 former soldiers are included in this. Free refreshments, canteen stalls will be set up by police departments and service organisations for the candidates during the written test as in the field test. The Navi Mumbai Police has arranged government vehicles from Panvel, Mansarovar and Vashi railway stations for the candidates coming from outside districts to reach the examination centre on Sunday.
Candidates should not bring admit card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, two passport size photos, any digital material while coming to the written exam. The police department has not made any facility to keep these items at the exam centre. Candidates will be admitted to the examination centre only after matching the biometric fingerprints of the candidates during the field test. This exam will be conducted through OMR technology.
