Mumbai- BMC’s Disaster management will shut down its helpline number 1916 for 8 hours on Thursday. This helpline number will be kept closed from 6 pm (24th November) until 2 am (25th November). Meanwhile, residents can call on 022-22694725/27. Disaster management which was on the ground floor now will be shifted on second floor. This is the first time this helpline number will be closed down for eight hours. This number was used by the Mumbaikars to give complaints about bomb scare, terrorists, fire breakouts and other disaster events.
