Ola, Uber drivers to once again go on a strike on November 17

Once again, Mumbaikars will have to face inconvenience as the drivers and owners of Ola and Uber are planning to go on a strike from November 17, if their demands are not met.  

Meanwhile, Marathi Kamgar Sena’s Mahesh Jadhav said that they will be going on strike from November 17 and a big march will be carried out on November 19 from Bharat Mata to Vidhan Bhavan.

Prior to this, the drivers and owners had been on a 12-day strike which ended on November 3 following the intervention of state transport minister Diwakar Raote. However, before withdrawing the strike, the union had clarified that it was a temporary withdrawal of strike. The union is demanding fuel hike base fare for drivers in the near future.
