Wadala - A Safety Week was organised at Wadala railway station from 28 November - 3 December. The initiative was undertaken by SS Reynolds school students. The drive was carried out to make people aware of the rising number of rail accidents. Present to support the drive were Senior Police Inspector I.B. Sarode, RPF officer Sudhir Shinde, Constable Mangesh Salvi, Commando Santosh Gawane and commuters.
