Shiv Sena MLC Anil Parab protested outside Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on Tuesday. Parab has written a letter to GVK authorities regarding toll of Rs 130 on vehicles coming to International Airport is illegal.
Apart from toll, parking charges are also taken from the vehicles. Anil Parab also reminded to GVK authorities that an equestrian statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be re-installed at the gate of the airport. It is estimated that GVK earns around Rs 35-40 lakh per month through toll charges. Protesters shouted against the GVK outside International Airport.
