Mumbai – The Samajwadi Party (SP) is ready to contest 115-120 seats in the municipal corporation elections, said Abu Asim Azmi, president of party’s Maharashtra unit. "The Congress and the NCP deceived us in the name of an alliance during last civic polls. This time, we will fight on our own," he added. The Mankhurd MLA also opposed the demolition drive against shanties and held government and the civic body responsible for themselves permitting an increase in the height of slum structures. He demanded protection for slum buildings having a height of 20 feet.
