Australia pace bowler Pat Cummins has recently made a prediction which states that Indian skipper Virat Kohli will not score a century during Team India’s Four-Test series in Australia later this year. In a Channel 7 event on Tuesday, Cummins made the prediction saying,

My brave, bold prediction; I’d say I think Virat Kohli is not going to get a hundred and we’re going to knock them off over here.”

While Cummins' prediction might be bold and brave but the facts state otherwise as the Indian skipper has an average of 62 in the eight Test matches he has played in Australia whereas Kohli’s career average is 53.40 and has five Test centuries to his account while playing in Australia. Along with this, Australia lacks two of their remarkable batsmen, Steve Smith and David Warner which will aid the Indian side.

Australian legend, Glenn McGrath was also present at the function and he too made a prediction stating that Australia would push back India to a 4-0 whitewash. He wishes that the hosts target Kohli and said that he wants to see how Kohli handles the pressure. He added that the series would be a “good, hard and tough” series.

The tour will be India’s 12th tour to Australia and will consist of three ODIs, four Tests and three T20s. The Australian tour will happen between Nov 21-Jan 18.
