Mahadev Betting App: Owner Saurabh Chandrakar arrested from Dubai

Sources informed that Saurabh Chandrakar, the promoter of Mahadev betting app, has been arrested in Dubai. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) with the help of the Ministry of External Affairs and Home Department arrested Chandrakar from Dubai. He is the main accused in the Mahadev Betting App case worth six thousand crore rupees.

Saurabh Chandrakar is the owner of Mahadev app and he was running Mahadev book betting app from Dubai. Saurabh Chandrakar, a resident of Bhilai in Chhattisgarh, used to sell fruit juice. He came in contact with people related to betting during the layoffs during the Corona period. He started betting. He then ventured into the online betting business. He went to Hyderabad and trained in online betting and from that the betting app was created. So currently Mahadev book app case is very popular in the country. These are suspected to include some politicians, police officers and people associated with politicians. The turnover of this app is suspected to be around 5000 crores. Through this app, customers were supplied to illegal betting sites.

Along with this, with the help of this app, user ID was created and betting was done through it. The case was confined to the state of Jharkhand. But Chandrakar got married in UAE in February 2023 and Mahadev promoters spent around INR 200 crore in cash for the wedding ceremony. A private plane was hired to take the family members from Nagpur to UAE. Actors and singers from Hindi cinema were invited to perform at the wedding. 

Wedding planners, dancers, decorators were also called from Mumbai. Actors Tiger Shroff, Neha Kakkar, Sunny Leone, Krishna Abhishek, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Vishal Dadlani, Bharti Singh, Nusrat Bharucha, Atif Aslam, Actors Pulkit, Bhagyashree, Keerti Khabanda, Eli Avram are on the target list as they performed at a wedding in Dubai.The ED's investigation revealed that all these transactions were done through hawala. According to the technical evidence, it was revealed that INR 112 crore was paid to the event management company through hawala in the name of Yogesh Popat's M/s R-1 Events Pvt Ltd and INR 42 crore was spent on hotel registration.
