Kandivali - Theft in local trains are becoming passe. This is strengthened with the stats available i.e., around 33 cases of theft has taken place in the month of August & September. The incident happened on Tuesday at Kandivali station on Platform no. 1at 7:40 pm, wherein RPF officer caught Uttam Vinod Thakur (20) red-handed stealing mobile phone of a passenger. Thief is confirmed as Vapi resident and is under Borivali GRP custody.
