Even after the government has taken major steps to curb alleged Naxal threats on Mumbai and rest of the country, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Mumbai officials seized 500 kilograms of Ganja (Marijuana) from a truck in Chhattisgarh's Raipur.

The crackdown was conducted a few days ago as the DRI was trying to locate the source of incoming drugs in Mumbai. They claimed that drug smuggling is an alternate medium of earning for Naxalites. DRI arrested three people in this regards including Truck Driver Surjeet Singh, Cleaner Avtaar Singh, and Owner Dharma Rao.
