Mumbai – The State government has taken a decision to give autonomy to three renowned institutions including JJ School of Arts, Sir JJ Fine Arts and Sir JJ Architecture College. The independent monitoring panels will be constituted for these autonomous institutions and presidents of these panels will be named by the government. Eminent personalities from the concerned fields will be nominated as the chairpersons of these panels. These institutions will have the right to collect donations and grants from the government. Government will give special emphasis to make students of these institutes to employable. With autonomy, these institutions will initiate many other new ways to provide modern facilities of international standards.
