After much contemplation, the department decided to install biometric machines in junior colleges to register attendance. The state officials announced the same on Friday.
Where Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena (ABVP) welcomed the decision, Students’ Federation of India (SFI) objected the same.
