Mumbai - Ganesha Festival ended on a happy note across Mumbai. Lakhs of devotees bid adieu to Lord Ganesha, with heavy heart. The facts given by Mumbai Police about the no. of Ganpati idols immersed - a total no. of 62,719 ganpati idols were immersed at the designated spots, artificial natural ponds, etc. 10,123 'sarvajanik' Ganpati idols & 52, 596 'gharghuti' (those at homes). Lalbaughcha Raja was immersed at 7.30AM.
