Mumbai: Easy access to Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Fund through 'CMMRF' app

In order for the citizens to benefit more from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, the Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Unit has provided the facility to apply on the 'CMMRF' app. This app has made it easy for citizens to get the Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Fund, and they no longer need to come to the Ministry. In just 14 months, the Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Room has provided financial assistance of INR 112.12 crore to more than 13,000 needy patients.

Many diseases are included in the Chief Minister's Medical Aid Fund. These include heart surgery, angioplasty, cancer surgery, chemotherapy, essential cochlear implant surgery for congenitally deaf children, blood purification, all types of organ transplant surgery, electrical accidents, road accidents, burn patients, congenital heart surgery etc.

The Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Unit has been successful in saving the lives of thousands of patients in the state by performing excellently. Mangesh Chivte, Head of Chief Minister's Assistance Cell, has appealed that more citizens should benefit from this service.
