Mumbai – Claiming that the State government has deceived MHADA residents by only declaring the State Housing Policy and not implementing it, as many as 500 residents of MHADA colony in Gandhi Nagar area will stage a protest in front of MHADA office on 25 October. The State government had announced the new housing policy on September 2 but has taken no concrete action in this regard. “The State government has done this by looking at the forthcoming municipal and local body elections in the state. Hence, MHADA colony residents will stage the protest,” said Congress leader Dr Vivekanand Jajoo.
