MHADA Konkan Board Lottery Draw To Be Called In "This" Month

According to the latest reports, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority's (MHADA) Konkan board lottery draw is slated to be conducted in June 2022. Based on accounts, an aggregate of 1,200 houses in the economical lottery scheme will be made accessible to those looking to purchase these MHADA lottery homes.

It has been reported that through this lottery draw, in addition to the homes of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY), those homes acquired in a private builder's project entailing 20 per cent were also included. These comments reportedly came in a press conference on Friday, April 13 by the Konkan Board Chief Engineer.

Narratives suggest that mainly the Konkan board lottery draw houses are situated in ThaneKalyan, Dombivali, Vasai and Virar among other places.

Back in October 2021, the Konkan board had offered 8,984 homes through a lottery draw. Herein, 2.46 lakh applicants had shown an interest. The MHADA has reportedly mentioned that the lottery winner of homes that have been acquired through private developers by means of a 20 per cent quota has commenced.

For the submission of documents, an extension till May 31 has been accorded, however, the winners of other PMAY houses and MHADA have initiated projects.
