BMC to join hands with state government for election awareness campaigns

As a part of the awareness campaign for the upcoming elections, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will be promoting the initiative by the state government. The campaign by Maharashtra government named, "Lokshahi Pandwada" (15 days of democracy) will be run across the state in schools, colleges, Universities, and public places.

The campaign has been initiated by the government to raise awareness regarding the elections in the state. The 15-day initiative will begin from January 26.

Under the initiative, every corporator, BMC ward officers will be given the responsibility to make necessary efforts to raise awareness in the schools, colleges, and universities in their concerned wards.

BMC will also run awareness campaigns through announcements by posters and banners, radio jingles, buses and trains throughout the city.
