Mumbai – Members of the state legislature will soon become hi-tech as the state government has decided to distribute the latest tabs to them. This process will start from the Legislative Council.
The government, as a part of making Maharashtra a digital state, will distribute tabs to make proceedings in state legislature paperless. Under this drive, all the members of the state legislature will be given latest tabs. The Upper House members (MLCs) will be the first to get these tabs. “All the MLCs will be provided tabs during budgetary session of the State Legislature. Technical things in this connections have been started,” informed Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar, chairman of the Legislative Council, while talking to Mumbai Live.
Meanwhile, the members of Legislative Assembly will have to wait for these latest gadgets till the winter session.
