Azad Maidan - On the backdrop of teachers protesting on the streets of Aurangabad, teachers from unaided schools in the city have launched a protest on Azad Maidan. Amravati professor Shrikant Deshpande and MLA Dattatray Sawant have launhced an indefinite fast to press for the teachers' demands. MLA Niranjan Davkhare visited the protesting teachers on Monday.
