As BMC elections are nearing, various political parties are seen organizing haldi kumkum in housing societies. They do seek police permission for the same.
One such haldi kumkum was organised by local corporator Ajanta Yadav at Hanuman Nagar, Ward no. 28. Here, women were present in large numbers. Along with local corporator, Congress probable candidate Rajpat Yadav was also present. Both asked the people to exercise their right to vote.
Samta Nagar’s API Vijay Kumar Newate said that many of the newly formed political parties are approaching them for permission, interestingly the police too haven't heard of many of these newly formed parties.
