Govandi - Alleging corruption in the work of Balasaheb Thackeray ground in Deonar municipal colony, the MNS activists have started hunger strike in front of the M-East Ward office at Chembur on Wednesday. The condition of this ground is not good and corruption has taken place in development related works of the said ground. The nexus of BMC officers and contractors is responsible for this scam, alleged MNS leader Satish Narkar. The BMC officers are accepting that corruption has happened in these works then why no action is being taken against the corrupt people, asked the MNS leader. The party activists have vowed to continue their hunger strike till concrete action is taken against the culprits.
