Uddhav Thackeray asks party workers to not waste money on birthday hoardings

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will celebrate his 59th birthday on July 27. While his party workers intend to celebrate his birthday in a pompous manner, Thackeray has asked them to not waste money on hoardings, banners, boquets, lights, Instead he has appealed them to donate the money for the welfare of the poor.

As a part of the birthday celebrations, the Shiv Sena party workers gather at his residence, Matoshri to wish him. People from neighbouring states arrive to celebrate his birthday. Therefore, Thackeray wants his followers to use the money to help the poor and underprivileged.

Born on July 27, 1960, Uddhav Thackeray was brought up amidst a political environment. His father Balasaheb Thackeray was referred to as one of the prominent figures in Maharashtra politics. 

Thackeray has been keenly interested in photography and is also considered a prominent Hindutva leader. Prior to the Lok Sabha 2019 elections, he had visited Ayodhya to seek blessings of Lord Ram.
