Mumbai- In order to expedite the redevelopment of buildings, the state government will now lower the FSI.
Henceforth, buildings will be redeveloped on an FSI of six instead of 10. "By restricting the FSI limit, work of redevelopment of buildings will be done in lesser time," said Ramesh Prabhu, President, Maharashtra Society Welfare Association. The Builders Association of India has welcomed the decision.
