Churchgate- Playing back to back games, Dabang Mumbai lost to Kalinga Lancers 4-3 yesterday at the MHA ground at Churchgate.
It was a love breezy evening and Mumbai were upbeat with their high octane victory over the Delhi Waveriders, but ran out of steam against the Kalinga Lancers. Mumbai started with a bang and took the lead, but immediately Kalinga Lancers equalized in a fierce counter attack.
In the 40th minute, Kalinga scored a field goal giving them 2 points and they went up 4-2. Mumbai did claw back in the 4th quarter but could not equalize or win the game.
Though Mumbai lost this game, they still lead the points table with 18 points.
