Mumbai - BMC decided to install Multipara monitors in civic hospitals. The contract was given to a Chinese company Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical ElectronicsCo., Ltd. Opponents have raised their voice against the decision, as per them Chinese company has quoted way higher amount than the market price of the machines. Opponents want BMC to cancel the contract of the company. Around 275 multipara monitors were bought to be installed in civic hospitals. The hospitals which were to be facilitated with the machines are - KEM, Nair, Sion, Cooper, Kasturba & other civic hospitals.
