The pantograph of a local train on the harbour line caught fire. Smoke was seen emitting from the pantograph of a local train running between Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Panvel. Commuters panicked after seeing smoke emitting out of the pentagon as the train reached Kurla station. Kurla RPF doused the fire.
According to the RPF, a piece of a cloth came in contact with the pantograph and started burning. This took about 15 minutes due to which other trains were disrupted.
