There is good news for the passengers travelling by state transport buses in Maharashtra. ST bus tickets can now also be booked through IRCTC. Also, an MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve to facilitate ST service for railway passengers.

Senior officials of ST Corporation and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) signed the MOU between Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation and IRCTC at Varsha, the official residence of the Chief Minister. This MoU was signed between them regarding the reservation management system.
Due to this, passengers can also book ST tickets from the website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (https://www.bus.irctc.co.in). 75 percent of the total railway passengers book their tickets through the website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. All these passengers will now be able to book ST bus tickets also. Therefore the number of ST passengers will increase.
