At 9:30 in the morning on Thursday, two buses: an ST bus and a Shivshahi bus, collided in Alibaug. While 40 passengers have been reported injured so far, the condition of both the drivers remains critical. Owing to the crash, the front of the ST bus was gravely damaged.
At around 9.30 am on Thursday, the buses came face to face at Karlekhind in Alibaug, the accident occurred while one of the buses tried overtaking. Both the drivers have been admitted to the J.J. Hospital, Mumbai since their condition was critical.

The ST bus was on route to Alibaug from Panvel whereas the Shivshahi bus was touring Murud-Swargate. The passengers have been admitted to district hospital in Alibaug.
