The film 'Munjya' released on Friday (June 7) is ruling the box office. The movie is being talked about a lot. Audiences are rushing to the theatres to watch the film, resulting in a strong collection in four days. The figures of the fourth day of the movie 'Munjya', which gathered good buzz at the box office for two days on Friday and the weekend, have been revealed.

The movie 'Munjya' collected INR 4.21 crore on its first day of release. On the second day, the film's collection increased by 81.25 percent and made a business of INR 7.40 crores. According to the trend report of 'Sacknilk', 'Munjya' collected INR 8.43 crore on its third day of release i.e. Sunday, a holiday. The three-day box office collection of 'Munjya' was INR 20.04 crores.

The film has earned well on the fourth day. Looking at the earnings of the fourth day, although it is less than the third day, it seems that the film has received a good response from the audience as Monday is not a holiday. The film has collected INR 3.75 crore on Monday. The film has earned INR 23.79 crore at the box office in four days.

The story of the film is based on the legend of Munjya, which is prevalent in Konkan. The film has been shot in Konkan. This Hindi movie stars Suhas Joshi, Ajay Pulikar, Bhagyashree Limaye, Shruti Marathe along with Sharwari Wagh, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh. This movie is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.

About the audience response to the film, actress Sharwari Wagh said, “I'm proud to be a Maharashtrian, so it's great to see a film based on a Marathi folktale getting so much love and people appreciating it. I am very happy to see that Maharashtrian folklore is playing nationally and a film based on it is becoming a hit."

'Munjya' is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural universe after 'Stree', 'Roohi' and 'Bhedia'.
