A fire broke out at Riya Palace in Lokhandwala, Mumbai at around nine on October 16 morning. Three people have died in this fire. According to the fire department, the fire is level one and the cause of the fire is still unclear.

Riya Palace is a 14-storey building in Lokhandwala, Mumbai. A huge fire broke out on the tenth floor of this building around 9 am. The people injured in the fire were admitted to the nearby Cooper Hospital. However, Cooper Hospital has reported that three of them have died. Two of them are senior citizens. The deceased have been identified as Chandraprakash Soni (74), Kanta Soni (74) and Pella Beta (42).

The cause of the fire is still not known and further investigations are underway.
