Wadala – Repair works have been undertaken on three public toilets at Laxman Wadi and Siddharth Nagar. With the toilets out of bounds for citizens since 3 October when the work commenced, there is discontent about the lack of hygiene alternatives in the area. Local women residents are hit the hardest, it is learnt. BMC junior engineer Sohan Anchelwar told Mumbai Live that the repair work would need at least three more months. Till then, there appears to be no relief in sight for the locals.
