Under the water supply scheme of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, urgent repair work of Barvi Gravity Channel will be undertaken from Katai Naka to Sheel Tank. As a result, water supply will remain shut for a total of 24 hours from Thursday 27/06/2024 12.00 pm to Friday 28/06/2024 12.00 pm in Mumbra, Diva, Kalwa, Majivada - Manpada and Wagle (some areas) areas of Thane Municipal Corporation.
During the said shutdown period, water supply in all areas in Diva, Mumbra (except part of Ward No. 26 and 31) and Kalwa Ward Committee, and Rupadevi Pada, Kisan Nagar No. 2, Nehrunagar and Manpada Ward Committee in Kolshet Khalcha village under Wagle Ward Committee will be completely closed for 24 hours. Citizens should please note that water supply will be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days after the water supply starts.

Through the Thane Municipal Corporation, citizens have been requested to cooperate with the Thane Municipal Corporation by using water sparingly during the said water reduction period.
