A 'special campaign' is being run by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department to distribute ration cards to migrant and unorganised workers in the state.
In this process, instructions have been given to the zonal system to immediately give the permissible benefits on ration cards to migrant, unorganised workers after verification and inspection as per the prevailing rules.
All non-ration card holding migrant, unorganised workers of the state are requested to approach the nearest ration office with necessary documents and obtain acceptable ration cards through the prescribed process. For more details contact 022-22793840 or email napu28.mhpds@gov.in.
