In order to control the spread of the coronavirus, the Maharashtra government has imposed lockdown in many parts of districts. However, due to this, one particular faction of people who are worst affected are the street vendors.
Talking about street vendors and lockdown, recently the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) officials allegedly upturning dry spices vendor cart was caught on camera. Soon, the video had gone viral on the internet, breaking hearts of netizens.

Furthermore, the people around vandalized the card with hammers in front of the police officials.
“The officials came and asked us to leave, we were leaving and found that our way is blocked. So, we tried to change the route and meanwhile, they stopped us. They asked me to leave my cart else they would vandalize it. I cited the honesty in business and pleaded in front of them but following complaints they didn't spare my cart and vandalized it. The material in the cart was approximately INR 10,000 worth," owner of the cart was quoted by Lokmat.
The video is from Naya Nagar Market in the Mira Road area of Thane.
