Western Railway (WR) has announced a major 5-hour block for track, signal, and overhead equipment maintenance on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Owing to this, several Mumbai local trains will be cancelled. This will affect UP and DOWN FAST lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations.
All FAST trains will be diverted to the SLOW lines between these stations during the block.
Releasing a statement, WR officials have advised all the passengers to plan their schedule accordingly. A list of cancelled trains is available at all Station Master offices.
It is pertinent to note that this comes at a time when Central Railways have announced a 63-hour special block for infrastructure development works at Thane and CSMT.
Meanwhile, “World No Tobacco Day” is annually observed on May 31, around the world to spread awareness about the ill effects of tobacco. On this occasion, Western Railway’s Jagjivan Ram Hospital conducted a social awareness initiative among patients, caregivers, hospital staff and doctors.
