A man and his wife were arrested for allegedly killing his 36-year-old nephew during a fight over a property dispute. The incident occurred near Khoja Kabrastan in Bandra (West) on Saturday night, December 7.

The accused have been identified as Habibur Rehman Khan, 56, and his second wife, Sana Khan, 36. They reportedly attacked their nephew, Kamran Faizal Rehman Khan, 36. Kamran worked as a rickshaw driver and lived near the Galaxy Theatre in Khan House. Sana also lived in the same neighborhood. 

The fight began over a longstanding property dispute between the two families. Kamran was accompanied by his nephew, Sadiq, and his sisters, Toti and Guddi, during the incident. According to the reports, Habibur struck Kamran on the head with a bamboo stick, leading him to fall down. 

Kamran was taken to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra by his family. Doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. Police also reported that Sana also assaulted Sadiq and left him injured. 

Following the incident, Bandra police arrested Habibur and Sana. They were charged with murder, assault, and intimidation. As per reports, police have confirmed the arrest and stated that the couple used a bamboo stick to kill Kamran.

It should be noted that Habibur is a repeat offender. He has been previously charged in five cases involving assault and threats. Earlier, preventive actions were taken against him two times. The police have started their investigation into the case and are holding the couple in custody.
