Mumbai- Two bogus doctors from south Mumbai are currently cooling their heels in police custody after the police nabbed them following complaints by civic officials.
Police say Prashant Sheetal Pore (46) and Prashant Jugal Samant (55) have been treating residents of Bhuleshwar and Kalbadevi for the last nine years. C ward officials, who got wind of their operations, and realised that the two do not have proper credentials to offer medical treatment, filed a complaint with the L T Marg police. On Friday, a team from the police station nabbed the doctors from Bhuleshwar and Kalbadevi's Pofalwadi, where the two had their clinics.
Both were presented in court and then remanded to police custody.
