A woman was killed in a car collision where she was not only hit by the speedy car but was dragged as well. The incident took place on Tuesday night. The police have arrested the car driver and a case has been registered against him under various sections.
The accident took place on the road in front of MLA Aslam Sheikh's bungalow. According to the police, the deceased woman was 27 years old and had gone for a mehndi class. While returning home late on Tuesday night, she was hit by a speedy car.
The woman was seriously injured in this terrible accident. After the accident, the locals beat up the car driver. However, the injured woman was immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment. The woman died before treatment. The driver of the car is serving in the merchant navy and he was also injured in the beating by the locals.
